Visiting Santa

We had to wait a loong time to visit with Santa, but Anna sure was happy to tell him what she wants for Christmas!

Thanksgiving

Look at our big girl...holding on with just one hand! She's looking so grown-up these days.

Happy Hoppes

As you can tell by the blur, it's hard to get Anna to sit still long enough to take a picture these days!

Miranda

Anna's got a new best friend and her name is Miranda. She loves to give Miranda big hugs and kisses. In this picture, Anna is getting ready for her nighttime ba and story with Miranda.

A visit from "Auntie" Moriah

Our dear friend Morian came and spent the weekend at our home and we had the best time. Anna got lots of extra cuddles and attention and she especially loved having company in the backseat of the car. You can tell how Anna feels about her "Aunti"e Moriah!
We miss you already....come visit again soon!

Harder and harder...

It's getting more challenging all the time to get a picture of five "babies" at once! As you can tell, Avery had better things to do and Ben was tuckered out!
So, it's not the best shot in the world, but it's certainly adorable all the same.

Happy Halloween!!

Cilley Hill Pumpkin Glow

The Allards and Damascos joined us for our annual trip to the Jericho Pumpkin Glow. It was a great show this year - lots of beautiful jack-o-lanterns. If you look closely you can see us all...hey, it was really dark!!

What a cutie

Anna's latest hat. She's so sweet!

Pumpkin Carving

I was all excited for Anna to play in the pumpkin goop...but I shouldn't have been surprised. She wanted nothing to do with it! She let her Daddy to the dirty work, but she was a great supervisor, as you can see!

Way to go, Mom/Grammy!

Now we normally only feature Anna on this site...but I am so proud of my Mom that I just had to share the news with everyone. She finally cut her hair and she looks amazing. Just see for yourself!

We're hoping Anna learns a lesson from this and follows her Grammy's display of courage. If so, Anna will be walking on her own in no time (that little chicken - she's too scared to let go!)

Buddies

Nathan and Anna are getting so big! It's fun to watch them playing together now that they're aware of each other.

Our second letterbox!

We had such a great time finding our first box on Saturday that we packed up and took a little trip on Sunday to find our second. This walk was much more strenous, but the discovery was even sweeter, and the trip was just beautiful (check out that waterfall!) We had such a nice day.

Our first letterbox!

Our family has a new hobby...letterboxing! For those of you who aren't familiar with it, let me explain. It's a "modern day treasure hunt". You follow clues which lead you to a small, hidden box. Inside is a stamp and you use it to stamp your book (just like a passport). Then, you use your own stamp and stamp their book. It's really neat to see who else has visited and read their comments. We are very excited about our new adventure and can't wait to find more! For those of you who want to learn more, visit www.letterboxing.org.

I don't want to give any hints away, but I'll share our pictures. Here's our fist letterbox and a picture of Anna and her Daddy on our walk. It was a perfect day.

Beautiful baby

I love this picture of Anna looking out her Grammy and Grampy's back yard. She's so beautiful!

By the Bay

All that hiking worked up Anna's appetite so Daddy took her to the Bay for ice cream (Banana, yummy!)
Anna loved watching the sailboats. Must be she was thinking of her Grampy ;-)

Hiking Eagle Mountain

Daddy took Anna on a short hike on Sunday with Ben and his Daddy, Vincent. They had a great time...even though it doesn't look it in one picture.

Momm's little dress up doll.

I could hardly stand it when I put this outfit on Anna. It's my favorite yet! Special thanks go to her Grammy who kept my clogs ALL these years. They're perfect!

So sweet

Although she wouldn't look at us, she still looks adorable in her cherry outfit. The hat drew lots of attention to Anna on our outings this weekend...which, of course she just hated ;-)

First Haircut!!

It was finally time to cut Anna's bangs. Anna loved being at the salon and she was so good while Cherie cut her hair. Hard to believe, but she looks even MORE adorable now! Here's the before:

And during.....

Ta-Da! What a doll!!

A Kitty Hunt

Anna's favorite pastime is searching the house for our kitties. She can usually find Molly curled up in the big chair.
Anna's finally lifting up that belly to crawl....check out that belly clearance!

Anyone there???

I KNOW people visit our page...but nobody leaves any comments. You guys must have something to say about all our adventures! Please leave a note, it makes it much more fun on this end :-)

NICU Grad Party

Hard to say who is having more fun in this picture :-)

Yesterday we attended the annual NICU graduation party at Shelburne Farms. It was a bit of a dissappointment as we didn't recognize most people there, and we had really hoped to see some of our favorite nurses. Anna was scared of the animals - especially the big cow, and she was very sleepy. At least the weather was perfect and the setting was gorgeous.

"Chillin" at the Sandbar

We had a playdate on Saturday with Nathan and Kristin. It was a beautiful day, but with the wind, it was very chilly. Dave and Anna snuggled under the towels to stay warm. We got to see a wedding, which was quite exciting, Anna and Nathan had fun playing together and, the higlight for Anna was crawling after all the seagulls!
